Coffee, Tea or both?

Coffee, tea or both? It’s quite a dilemma. I used to be a coffee drinker. Truth is, we’ve had a love and hate relationship. This has been an on again, off again kind of thing for many years. I love the smell of freshly roasted coffee beans and brewed coffee and sometimes I like the taste. Most often though this black magic hurts my stomach, makes me feel anxious, my heart races and I’m left feeling dry inside. My favorite brand to drink was Sunshine Organic Coffee based out of Sebastopol, California. If you’re looking for an option you can find out more about them here:Sunshine Coffee

In my attempt to live a more nourishing life I’ve chosen to break up with coffee for a bit before making a final decision to walk away for good. So, I’ve gone back to drinking tea. A more soothing route that is comforting to me in a way that coffee isn’t. I prefer loose or bagged herbal tea plain no milk, no added sweetener. My favorite brands are Traditional Medicinals, Numi, Choice, and Tusli Holy Basil.

Traditional Medicinals I love:

Roasted Dandelion Root. This is a very dark tea with a dry and earthy flavor. It’s great for your liver too!

Echinacea Plus with Elderberry: I like the slightly sweet taste and the healing benefits of elderberry.

Throat Coat: This one always feels good, whether or not I have a sore throat.

Ginger Aid: Feels great when I have a bit of indigestion after a heavy meal.

Organic India Tulsi Original, Holy Basil: This brand has a variety of flavors. This is my all time favorite tea right now. I feel so good drinking it because I feel like the stress I am under melts away for just a moment. I feel nourished too. Two other favorites are Masala Chai and Honey Chamomile.
